5/8" bore x 3/4" Stroke, Vertical Stationary Engine
Designed by H.J. Coventry in the 1920s, and its construction was featured in THE MODELMAKER magazine in 1926. Known decades later as "Little Kathy" when castings & drawings were marketed/sold by supplier TINY POWER.
Double-acting. Has 3/16" diameter stainless steel valve, working in reamed brass sleeve (valve liner). Main piston has oil grooves, no rings. Will run on air or steam. Flywheel 2-1/2" diameter.
All bronze castings. Castings set includes a copy of the original 1920s drawing, and a construction article by H.J. Coventry, from "The Modelmaker" magazine, dated 1926. Also includes an updated drawing.
