In the 1950s, Friends Models developed a 1-1/2" scale early American 4-4-0, a model of the Pennsylvania Railroad's "Tiger". The prototype live steamer was built by Lester Friend in the mid-1950s, and it operated on his private estate in Beverly, Massachusetts until his death in 1962.
7-1/4" gauge. (May be converted to 7-1/2" gauge by skilled builders).
